Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD) headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, is the fifth largest school district in the state of Arizona, serving Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Anthem, New River, Cave Creek and unincorporated areas of Northwest Maricopa County. Situated within the Sonoran Desert, the District has grown to 36 campuses including five high schools.
Phoenix is the capital and the most populous city of Arizona as well as being the largest state capital in the United States by population. It is the regions primary political, cultural, economic, and transportation center. Incorporated in 1881, Phoenix is young by historical standards but now ranks as one of the fastest-growing cities in the nation.
